Role overview
We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Specialist (Diplomate ACVIM / ECVIM) to step into a vital dual role as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). This hybrid position is tailored for an elite, internationally recognized specialist looking to lead from the front while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. Operating on a clear 4-day work week schedule, you will spend 3 days per week in clinical practice driving advanced internal medicine care on the hospital floor. The remaining 1 day per week will be dedicated to executive CMO blocks, which include a seat on the Management Board. In this capacity, you will directly influence company strategy, medical policies, and financial growth alongside our CEO, bridging the gap between world-class clinical excellence and corporate governance.
Note: Fully certified Diplomate status (Board Certification) is a strict requirement for this executive appointment..
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Internal Medicine (3 Days / Week)
Specialist Caseload: Drive the diagnosis, management, and long-term care of advanced, complex internal medicine cases.
Floor Leadership: Serve as a clinical anchor during busy hospital shifts, collaborating in real-time with our 24/7 ECC, Oncology, Cardiology, and Surgery departments.
Diagnostic Excellence: Utilize and maintain advanced diagnostic workflows, including specialized imaging, endoscopy, and in-house lab work.
Board and CMO Leadership (1 Day / Week)
Management Board Seat: Actively participate in Management Board meetings to align the hospital’s medical strategy with overall commercial and expansion goals.
Clinical Quality and Governance: Establish, monitor, and optimize evidence-based clinical protocols, medical safety benchmarks, and legal compliance.
Mentorship and Culture: Actively guide, mentor, and track the development of clinicians, residents, and rotating interns while safeguarding a healthy, collaborative workplace.
Strategic Procurement: Partner with the executive board to evaluate and approve major medical equipment investments and clinical capability expansions.
What We Are Looking For
Board Credentials: Fully certified Diplomate status (ACVIM or ECVIM) in Small Animal Internal Medicine. (Candidates who are residency-trained but not yet board-certified will not be considered for this specific executive post).
